Again, I'm so very sorry about your dad. And for one of my uncles & all the other 318,000 & counting Americans who have lost their lives largely due to the CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE of the current "administration". That ANY of the pieces of SHIT Republicans who mocked the virus, mocked the wearing of masks & REFUSE to pass a stimulus bill that would immediately help many struggling Americans actually get the vaccine AHEAD of most health care workers should be PROSECUTED!
Anyhoo, I did read some AWESOME news today - the stimulus bill includes a provision that any unused monies in this year's FLEX plan will be EXTENDED into all of 2021 instead of disappearing end of Feb as usual. WHOO-HOO! I'm THRILLED! I've been so upset that the $2000 I had deducted from my paychecks this year to help pay for my dental implant that was SCHEDULED (but delayed by me repeatedly & then cancelled until next March) for this year will not go to waste after all! Finally, something in those stimulus bills for me & folks like me! I don't begrudge ANY aid going to all the desperate folks but losing that money was going to be a massive hit for me & now I feel helped too. Xmas comes early. Well, it WOULD if that SOCIOPATH currently HIDING in his Florida lair would sign the damn thing! And what a FARCE that the alleged reason he won't sign is that he "demands" the stimulus checks be $2000 when HIS PARTY didn't even want to give ANY money outright!
ANYONE who voted for a Republican in the US House or Senate have only THEMSELVES TO BLAME. And if they voted for that TREASONOUS GUTLESS SACK OF SHIT in hiding? May THEY be LAST IN LINE for the vaccine!
Sorry, I wanted to just come here today & wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Please be safe & remember, only a week till we can kiss-off 2020 goodbye!

Susie that is great news about the FSAs. I've gotten burned by trying to use that - had reimbursements denied because "the expense could have been covered by your insurance" and lost left over funds too because I just didn't need to spend that last $25 or so. I never understood the logic - I earned the money, it came out of my pay, so why do I lose it and where does it go?
Just another argument IMO in favor of single payer health insurance.
The real shame is that Trumpists will not know or understand that he never advocated for $2000 earlier, and that he is portraying the bill and all of its provisions as part of Covid relief - instead of the fact that this is the omnibus funding bill for the ENTIRE government - so he is misrepresenting provisions as "inappropriate" that are routine parts of the yearly budget. I will be SO SO SO glad when he is gone.
But enough politics - it is Christmas Day, a time to realize the true light of the world. Blessings to you both!
Is it January 29th yet? (can't come soon enough). Anyway....MERRY CHRISTMAS!! And just an fyi...somehow I got locked out of my home email last Sunday, AND my Facebook password changed (I didn't see the email cuz I was locked out of my email...when I try to get in it says the server doesn't recognize my password). I've tried and tried to get into my FB account, the email it shows that it's sending a code to is an email I've never had. then it asks me to name three "Trusted contacts" (apparently I never set that up). So...it looks like my FB account is lost to me forever...if you see anything from "ME" on FB just know it's not me. This is really pissing me off. I went to my internet provider yesterday and had them change my email password, didn't help (still couldn't access my home email). Strange stuff going on here...don't see why anybody would hack my accounts...there's nothing to gain by that...but it does appear somebody has taken over my email and FB.
ReplyDeleteWell...I finally got my email back (years ago we had our internet thru Verizon, and they had changed their email provider to AOL (apparently)...I vaguely remember hearing about that but didn't affect me as I kept my @verizon.net email address. Anyway...Frontier took over the internet from Verizon a few years back, still transparent to me, didn't have to change anything (our modem/router are still "Verizon"). So I called Frontier (my ISP..Internet Service Provider) who referred me back to Verizon, who referred me to AOL who was able to help me even tho I have no other link to AOL...crazy! Just glad to have that back! Now...my Facebook is still unavailable to me (seems my password was changed and I didn't do it, and I can't get it back..the email it sends my reset code to is not mine, and I can't talk to anybody about it). Seems ridicilous that my FB is linked to my email but they won't send a reset code to THAT email...I truly might not be able to get my account back...still to be seen.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's facebook account was hijacked several years ago, and IIRC she got no help from FB - ended up creating a new account somehow.
ReplyDeleteI have a sneaking suspicion that I will have to create a new account also. I can't believe that they won't send a reset code to MY account (which is based on MY email address). Also I have 3 devices that use this account...my desktop PC, my laptop PC, and my phone...they KNOW these devices, yet they won't send a reset to my cell either. I'm pretty ticked and considering not even bothering and just dropping it. I'm that upset. I don't need FB. Lived w/out it most of my life. Ridiculous.
